Myrna Kostash will give a lecture and meet with students

Department of American and Canadian Studies and Canadian Studies Centre invite everybody to the lecture by a prominent Canadian non-fiction writer and journalist Myrna Kostash. The lecture entitled „The Reluctant Historian: Writing Creative Nonfiction", dealing with relations between settlers to the Western Canada and the Indigenous people of the land, will take place on Thursday, 3rd October 2013, at 12:00 (Akwarium – 3rd floor). The writer will meet with our students one day earlier, on Wednesday, October 2nd at 14:00, room 3.55, to discuss creative non-fiction and to conduct a short workshop on non-fiction writing.
