Poet, translator and academi teacher Ewa Chruściel will give a lecture and run a workshop for students on Tuesday, 29th October.

Ewa Chruściel has published two books in Polish and one book in English,
Strata, which won the 2009 international book contest and was published with Emergency Press in 2011. Her second book in English
Contraband of Hoopoe is forthcoming with Omnidawn Press in 2014. Her third book in English
Dybbuk of Angelus was a finalist with River Run Press. Her poems were featured in
Jubilat,
Boston Review,
Colorado Review,
Lana Turner,
Spoon River Review, and
Aufgabe among others. She translated Jack London, Joseph Conrad, I.B. Singer as well as Jorie Graham, Lyn Hejinian and Cole Swensen into Polish. She teaches at Colby-Sawyer College and is currently working on the Anthology of American Contemporary Poets in Polish.
