Dr hab. Eugenia Sojka z naukową wizytą w Toronto w dniach 23-31 maja 2017 r.

Z olbrzymią przyjemnością informujemy, że dr hab. Eugenia Sojka została zaproszona do wzięcia udziału w Konferencji “Mikinaakominis / TransCanadas. Literature, Justice, Relation” (24-27 maja 2017), University of Toronto, Kanada. Konferencje TransCanadas to najważniejsze wydarzenia akademickie w kanadyjskich angielskojęzycznych badaniach humanistycznych. Prof. Sojka wygłosi referat “Oh, Canada! How have you been constructed in Poland? Polish translators, writers, publishers and scholars and their role in the representation of Canada” w panelu “Transatlantic Literary and cultural perspectives. Past, Present, Future.”

Następnie Prof. Sojka weźmie udział w Konferencji Kanadyjskiego Towarzystwa Badań Teatralnych (Canadian Association for Theatre Research / L’association canadienne de la recherche théâtrale (CATR/ACRT): CATR/ACRT 2017: Performing the Anthropocene (27-30 maja 2017), Toronto, Drama Centre, University of Toronto, oraz Artscape Youngplace. Tu wygłosi DWA referaty i weźmie udział w seminarium “Decolonizing Methodologies and Settler Responsibility in Theatre and Performance Studies: 3.0” – z projektem pt. “Indigenous theatrical sovereignity: Decolonial thought and methodologies of selected Canadian Indigenous theatre artists / researchers and the responsibility of settler scholars to engage with both Indigenous and non-Indigenous theories and practices, in conversation with indigenous scholars and thinkers.” Drugi referat pt. “Ex-settler, diasporic citizen of Canada living in Eastern Europe, teaching Indigenous drama/ theatre and performance to non-Indigenous students - alternative paths to settler-Indigenous relationships?” wygłosi w panelu “Terra Nullius: Charting Paths To Settler–Indigenous Relationships through Theatre and Performance in Academic Contexts.”
